Another nice vintage here (a vertical tasting would be amazing). 2014 was all blueberry and blackberry. There's an earthiness too. Allspice? Annually one of the great tasting stops on the bench. Come for the wine, stay for the bocce. Stay manly, my friends. — 7 years ago

Lighter color and body but surprisingly large tannins and flavors. Aromas of ripe plums, dark cherries and leather. Ripe cherry and Dr. Pepper flavors with some tobacco notes. Powerful with bracing acidity. Long finish with lots of tannin. Solid! Nicely aged. — 5 years ago

The aromas and taste have evolved. Delicious old fruity aromas and flavors. Tannins are still gripping so it hasn't fully developed. Black fruit. A little old wood funk and brett. Slightly warm on the finish. Amazing overall. 14% abv — 10 years ago
