A steal at $16. Perfect with Sushi. Ian Cauble recommended decanting for 60 minutes and serve between 45-55 degrees. Spot on! "This wine's sea air, old vines, and inimitable soil deliver a sensory experience on par with Chablis." — 7 years ago
Incredible value at around $15. Juicy ripe strawberries and spicy raspberry with vibrant acidity. I'm partial to the Loire, but this is truly a perfectly versatile wine you could sip poolside or serve with a wide range of cuisine. Try it with some pulled pork on a steamy summer day or a light summer salad with fresh chèvre. — 8 years ago

Excellent red. Would serve to any guest. Steaks or lasagna or Bolegnese. — 8 years ago
Wonderful, reasonably priced wine that stands up well to spicy food, yet does not overpower beef dishes. This seems to be a good all-around wine. Would proudly serve this to company. — 8 years ago
this 2000 beauty is ready for your love and should only get better for the next 10+ years. nose of pomegranate, cigar, herbs, mushrooms and earth, with undertone of leather. intensely structured, yet elegant and well integrated, with acidity for the gods. aromas apparent on palate too, joined by cocoa, coffee and bay leaf. braise up some lamb shanks to serve with and heaven is yours. — 9 years ago
Great fruit on the nose, cherries and cola and an earthiness to it. It tastes complex but integrated and dry with smooth dark berry fruit. The 2010 is very good, I'd definitely buy this vintage again & serve it proudly. — 9 years ago
The duck Magret is in the stove! Not crazy with the noSe. The mouth is so so so great, a lot of blackberry! Can't wait to serve it blind! We ll see how many people will find a Sancerre ?? — 10 years ago
I am proud to introduce an Italian Super Tuscan that I have been looking for for years! This is a wonderful example of a cabernet Franc at 30%!!!!! And a cabernet sauvignon blend. If you want an affordable cab / cab franc - one of my favorites, you absolutely have to try this one. Please note, if I give a wine a perfect score it means I would be happy to serve it to anyone at anytime with my 100% confidence that they will love it and want it and love me for it!!!! OMG. This is awesome! Here we go, this is Brancatelli, Valle Delle Stelle, Toscana 2013! It is only 13.5 %! First, decant for 30 minutes!!!! The color is dark but not opaque! The legs are long, thick, slow, and numerous in number. The bouquet is sweet cherry pie baking in the oven with a spicy aroma and a fig tree with rip figs. The initial palate is of coarse blackberry and dark currant with a mid palate explosion of vanilla and spice. The finish is oaky and dry leaving you wanting a splash of water to wet your palate! I adore this wine! — 7 years ago
Solid, juicy, value-driven Chinon. One of my favorite daily drinkers. Just-ripe raspberry and strawberry red fruit, fresh red floral character, that classic Chinon green bell pepper, pencil shavings, and granitic, gravelly earth. There's a tiny bit of brett too which I definitely don't mind. Moderate acidity, the '14s had a little more acid which I definitely appreciated but I don't feel like the '15s are "flabby" or lacking in acid at all either, there's still enough to balance and support the other elements. Body and tannin levels are medium (-). Overall, pretty nice juice. Serve it just warmer than cellar temp. — 8 years ago
Wonderful full-bodied Pinot with nice notes of chocolate and berries. Depth, complexity and long finish. Outstanding value under $20. A Pinot you can be proud to serve company. — 8 years ago
Deep purple and ruby, this stunning Zinfadel came in a half bottle and left me wishing for more. Rounded with dark plums, it finished dry. I was left with many ideas what I could serve this with as if it were the missing sauce. — 9 years ago
Clean refreshing. Love the taste of the citrus an grapefruit. Serve well chilled. Great for a hot summer night. — 9 years ago
Modern in style but with perfect execution. Not so much a traditionalist to turn this down. Love to serve next to Rinaldi and let the Burgundy Girls decide for themselves. — 10 years ago
