Drank with BBQ at dad’s in Enid while packing wine cellar for move. Dark, slightly rich blueberry, blackberry. Spice although it could be the bbq. Very smooth. A little lighter on the medium-length finish than I remember. May be trending down with age. Very good wine. — 6 years ago

Iron fist with a velvet glove. The vigneron's location gives it away so well. Romantic and serene. — 9 years ago
Incredible dark fruit, minerals, and a menthol accent, and still youthful with vibrant acidity and ample velvet tannin come together in a stunning blend of grace and power that begs for serene contemplation. — 10 years ago
Slight floral quality to the edgy sweetness and gorgeous black fruit. I suspect some co-fermentation here (Viognier). Lovely, lively, and lithe on the palate. Plenty of acids here, so this will pair with nearly any meats. Just to reiterate, this is not your typical Paso syrah (no offense), but an elegant rendition of the grape. — 11 years ago

The ‘Grace Vineyard’ Pinot Noir is a barrel selection from this exceptional site in the Dundee Hills AVA. The aromas are intoxicating right out of the gate, as this warm vintage Pinot Noir is not needing a long decant. Rose water, ripe red plums, strawberry puree and guava aromas all combine with lovely earthy and wet rock nuances that all are woven together in the beautifully glass. Exuding sheer class on the palate, this gorgoeus Pinot Noir slowly unveils ripe red fruits that mingle with minerals, potpourri, exotic spices and shades of wild blackberry jam. The silky texture entices and adds to this wonderful drinking experience. Fantastic in its youth, the Grace Vineyard Pinot Noir will shows wonderful promise for an exceedingly long evoloution ahead. Oak. Butter. Toffee. Nice acid and finish — 9 years ago
Beautiful and serene. Reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast, resplendent with lemons the size of one's head, looking out over the Tyrrhenian Sea and inhaling the salty air. There is a little grassiness, also, bringing this wine back down to earth from its lofty perch. Wine Gallery. — 9 years ago
My last '07 😢. The entire case drank nicely all the way until the end! — 10 years ago

Lovely wine. More nuance and layers than in the two Oregon pintos with which it was tasted (serene evanstad and berg storm). Nice smoky earthiness with darker fruit. Nice length and linger. Exc with food — 12 years ago

This is a spectacular Pinot Noir.....WOW!!! — 6 years ago
Citrus, light, hint of tang on finish. More full bodies than a French style wine. — 6 years ago
The Mark Bradford Vineyard has high elevation plantings to Pinot Noir and was the first vineyard planted by Grace and Ken Evenstad, aptly named after their son. Showing a deep core, the wine begins with intense aromas that instantly excite. Red cherry cola, cigar ash, peat moss, blood orange zest and pomegranate seed aromas all come to mind. There is a beautiful, seamless quality to this wine, as it effortlessly glides across the mid-palate. Wild strawberry, red cherry candy, black tea, cranberry, pomegranate and peat moss flavors all combine marvelously leading up to the finish. While this possesses notable weight, there is also a striking elegance. Surprisingly open and accessible, this is another stunning Pinot Noir from Domaine Serene and talanted winemaker, Michael Fay. A wine that is memorable — 8 years ago
This is a VERY pleasant surprise (at first pass, I was not sure I would love this but it really opened up). Bought this from the Secret wine fridge at FLX Wienery. After being closed off for many years, this baby needed to breathe. It's from The Rocks before it was known as "The Rocks." The funk is mostly blown off. The power is still there on the finish--which is elegant and long. The fruit is still present with conflicting red and blue fruit--esp. prevalent is dried raspberry and blackberry. The pepper is still present. The tannins are still powering through 17 years later. — 9 years ago
