Italy. Red. Sardegna. Another great red from Sardegna. I’ve decided I like cannonau. This one is more fruity than the Sella & Mosca with black cherry and plum notes. I actually might prefer it but both are great, used this in cooking and enjoying with a hearty tomato-based pasta. My favorite wines thus far have been from the Italian island regions: Sardinia and Sicily. $14. 13% alc by vol. — 6 years ago

Super Sardinian :) 50/50 Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cannonau - hmmm it's delicious, garnet color and medium body - pomegranate, plums, raisins and liquor cherries (Grenache higher alcohol) with ripe but medium+ tannins .
