This is one hell of a Pinot noir from the langhe, by the Gambelli award winning 'winemaker of the year' in 2014... brilliant high toned fruit, polished tannins and a long finish. Inky, black and red fruit, smoky, delicious. I taste dried fig, black cherry, and some earthy terroir. Ripe tannins as well. It's a delicious wine, would probably do well to age.
