Great Oakville neighborhood, next to Screaming Eagle & adjacent to Rudd! Decanted over 2 hours, paired w/Prime Rib. Very good now, but could hold in cellar another couple years for tannins to completely integrate entirely. — 9 years ago

"Le Pich" is a Wappo Indian word for "golden eagle". While the Le Pich Cabernet is the minor - league team for the Purlieu Vineyards- this 2009 is an absolute knock-out. Beautifully well rounded and just brimming with soft & chewy cherry tannins- it's a stunner. — 11 years ago
