It's rare that a late-harvest #Riesling can have such great concentration and intensity while also retaining its innate elegance and fineness. #Ruwer Rieslings by nature are delicate wines that remind us of lace or other such transparent, filigreed fabrics. '99 was a classic late-picked vintage that had some, but not too much, influence of #botrytis. In this case, just enough to give the wine an exotic, tropical fruit aspect hat was truly beguiling--we could have danced all night! — 9 years ago
So smooth! My first New Zealand pinot. — 9 years ago
Honey, apricot, jasmine/fruit blend tea, sweet spices. Approachable, smooth, delicate. Less creamy in texture compared to Rose. Quite rare to find blends in New Zealand. Cuvée name is in honor of previous owner who is Italian. — 10 years ago
