Delicious fruity zin that’s holding up beautifully. A bit of oxidation although no pronounced off aroma or palette. Remarkable how this rich ripe wine has consistently delivered fruit and supple tannins after 10+ years. Tribute to Mr. Scherrer. — 2 years ago

I can see why this wine is so highly rated. Lemon curd, floral and citrus notes in very subtle elegant style make it both unusual and very pleasant. They say the densely planted vines and hand cultivation generates more concentrated fruit vs typical CA spacing. Unfined and unfiltered gives it some nice texture but not overly so. Would never guess this is from the RRV. $45 CT91 made just 130 cases. — 8 days ago
