Very reticent to give up much on the nose, just a bit of red berry. Wonderful taste of a mix of red and black fruit and baking spice. While lighter than many field blends, it still has a nice velvety mouthfeel with some dusty tannins on the finish. Must be that Contra Costa sand! — 11 years ago
