Very good wine. Interestingly having tasted through all of his 2005 Grand Cru offerings, I do not see much difference in the bottlings. They all taste pretty much the same. Not a bad thing - in fact they are all very good- just not much sense of differentiated terroir to my palate. Maybe it is me. — 10 years ago
Tart taste. Full bodied. Good wine. 2004 vintage dad had for awhile. Also tried the 2005 - couldn't really tell the difference. — 10 years ago
I'm normally a red wine drinker but loved this wine — 10 years ago
Lovely oaky smooth warm hint of spice — 11 years ago
Old world sourness - love! Taste this next to new California pinot & see where the difference lies. — 11 years ago
-8.5 vs -9 degrees C. Difference between late harvest and ice wine. Huge price diff but taste is virtually the same. — 12 years ago
Unexpectedly good. I'm not a Sainsbury's regular and only got this because I read somewhere that priorat was interesting. Now I will look for others from the area. — 9 years ago
This wine was silky good and showed regionally the power and difference as 89 Lafite was also on the table. Showing power and richness with type raspberry flavors it was great to taste this still evolving 89 — 10 years ago
Light, lingering from citrus to melon taste. An all occasion wine. — 10 years ago
Wow!!! This dose not taste like a 10-12$ bottle of wine great nose, Big fruit crisp strong finish. Silky smooth Please let this sit out and decant for at least 2 hours huge difference. Great value! — 10 years ago
Decanted four hours. It made a big difference on this young vintage. Drank it against the lesser Chapoutier juice from Les Vignes de Bila-Haut and it was instructive to taste the difference between the two. The tannins were much rounder and integrated on this one, and the impression of fruit was cleaner... — 11 years ago
35 year old vines. You can taste the difference between this and the standard Shiraz — 12 years ago
(Last week) Sorry but I have no words for this. Dare I say that this is probably the very best wine I have tasted in years. Beautiful and perfect example of Rioja Tempranillo and granache and maturana and graciano and 3 rioja whites. It was interesting to taste the difference between top and bottom of the bottle. — 9 years ago
Funny how Mr Parker and I have such a difference in taste :-) he would score a table wine with 92 points and will award this lovely elegant and complex Burgundy with 88 points go figure. The wine is extremely elegant and concentrated, the nose is complex and multi laired with red berries, black current, cassis, mineral and leather all coming together into a full bodies elegant and supple wine , complex and rich , with a long delicious finish. My score 92, drink to 2025 perhaps longer . — 10 years ago
Lovely, very fruity wine — 10 years ago
Italian night! 2006, just one year difference from previous, but taste even better. — 10 years ago
Reposado makes the difference ! Very smooth taste. Even my wife who rarely has a drop of alcohol, merely a glass of red wine from time to time, really enjoyed this Tequila experience, with salt and lime. — 11 years ago
Really great beer, you can taste the difference with how it's brewed with Orange Peel. — 11 years ago

1998 Domaine G. Roumier Bonnes Mares Burgundy. Lunch w J&H R and Leon at The I.I. K took a chance on this wine- not a terribly notable year- and it was out of this world. HR particularly loved this. Bottle had been standing for 2 weeks, which K thinks contributed to making a huge difference in our enjoyment. Color was completely clear- no murkiness. We had a hard time pinning down the nose on this wine. No hard edges- super subtle in texture, taste, and nose. K makes note how surprised he was that this wine is drinking so epically right now. — 9 years ago
