Sauternes from 2006, perfect color. Excellent nose: very citrus, exotic fruits, honey, and a hint of saffron too. Very rich in the mouth: buttery, "fat" but with very well balanced acidity. I loved it!! 89/100 — 11 years ago

On the first day open, it was kinda disjointed and woody. Lots of bacon and smoke covering unmistakably concentrated fruit. On day 2 it got more savory and herbal. Now on day three the fruit is gorgeous -- ripe but not jammy. Minty-menthol herbal note with spice and great structure.
