Peppery funk. Delicious. — 8 years ago
A bit reddish golden color; peach and apple on the move with hint red gooseberry; some tannins. Great surprise for Italian sparkling. — 8 years ago
Hint of plum and spice, high viscosity and sharp tannins, smooth for a blend. Makes me think of Italy... — 8 years ago

Full bodied and very berry — 11 years ago
Really lovely wine with fresh orchard and citrus fruits, some exotic spice, an element of creaminess with coconut and lavender. Amazing acidity that keeps if fresh and light, despite the bit of weight behind it. — 5 years ago
Incredible. Holds up very well. Aged dark fruit. — 7 years ago
Nice hot day today and the cool white wine was just the ticket . Medium acidity and beautiful notes of fresh fruit and flowers had it with pork and will buy this one again and again — 8 years ago

1985 Sassicaia. Second red wine at Redd Wood lunch w A, S, and K. This wine was perfect. Epic. We could not believe how perfect this wine was drinking. Thoroughly enjoyed it- it was enjoyable the way truffles are- hard to describe, but pleasing to all relevant senses. — 10 years ago

Never had rosso de montepulciano, I never knew this was a different region then montepulciano. Wife picked this up and it is very good. I got an education from a Tuscan friend about the region I will keep an eye out for rosso de montepulciano wines. — 6 years ago
Another wonderful Merlot. Mountain wines are known for beautiful dark color, intense aromatics and full bodied flavors. This Howell Mountain wine does not disappoint. Beautiful ruby red color and great aromas of blue fruit, cedar and a little earthiness. The tannins on this young wine are very apparent but seem to integrate nicely with the intense flavors of blueberries and baking spices while in your mouth. I am sure this wine will improve with age but it drinks very well today. — 7 years ago
Some mineral but light. Super awesome. — 8 years ago
Keeps getting better and better and better. — 8 years ago
Probably the best under $15 Tuscan I've had. Medium body, fresh cherry, a little herb. Some complexity and pleasant tannins to the finish which is rare for a Sangiovese at this price point. — 9 years ago
One of last bottles I bought in 2004 in Italy at winery. Absolutely gorgeous nose. Cherry, floral, Coca Cola. Still has lots of fruit smooth tannins and great length. Drinking window by professional stated through 2015. Has at least 5 years in my mind. — 9 years ago
Surprisingly smooth structure starts off, blending the grape varietals well to a smooth elegant finish. With spicy southern Italian fare this wine holds up strong. 2011 vintage. — 10 years ago
Intensely aromatic. Black tea, rose petals, red cherry and tar. Every component feels accentuated but in a very balanced way. Lots of fruit, good amount of acid, solid tannic grip and long finish. — 10 years ago
From S J vineyard very dark with blackberry coulis fruit violet floral and dark spices very big and brawny with sweet sappy fruit dark spices and a fresh finish excellent — 11 years ago

€15.90 on the restaurant wine list. The wine list said it is a blend but the bottle only mentions Tempranillo. Pleasant enough to order again. Restaurant will be changing name/venue soon. Enjoyed our meals here overlooking the boardwalk & beach. — 3 years ago
