Vintage 2012. Bought at sg airport. Opened 3rd july 2018. Aired 30mins. Heavy legs. Reddish purple. Tinge of sweet and caramelised nose, leatherly peppery. Medium acidity to palate, followed by very light sweetness, then spices, followed by caramel sweet and light bitterness. Flavourful. Medium smooth tannin. Medium long finishing with sweetness on the buccal. — 8 years ago

One of last bottles I bought in 2004 in Italy at winery. Absolutely gorgeous nose. Cherry, floral, Coca Cola. Still has lots of fruit smooth tannins and great length. Drinking window by professional stated through 2015. Has at least 5 years in my mind. — 11 years ago

At La Gazzetta Italian restaurant for the second time. The first wine we tried here last time we didn’t like so we tried a different, more expensive one this time. Much better experience by spending a few more Euros…22.50€ on the wine list but the only charged us 18.50€ because we told them we didn’t like their 18.50€ wine. Fresh and bright with red cherry and plum fruit accented with tar, floral and brown spice notes. Palate has lovely texture with nice fruit and round tannins.
