Little dessert squirt - in ma mouf — 10 months ago
I’m a believer in terroir, but this wine, which is an absolute ringer for Chablis, throws everything in question. If this were grown at Rorick with its limestone that would make sense, but semillon from the Napa valley floor? Out of the bottle it’s quite lithe, showing lemon and a bit of seashell minerality, but with an hour of air it begins to show some crisp apple and white stone fruit, and some white flower. Lovely, unusual wine. Enjoyed with grilled salmon and salad. — 5 years ago

Pretty classic... — 7 years ago
Better than expected with floral and hints of pineapple. Muted at first and then opens immensely. Easy to drink and getting better with time. It's a tad sweet, but expected. Will definitely revisit. — 9 years ago
Always surprised by these wines. Incredible concentration and still lively. — 12 years ago
2007 Petit Guiraud Sauternes. Excellent. — 12 years ago
An incredible delectable white blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 22% Sémillon, and 11% Muscadelle by Lynch-Bages, a 5th Growth Chateau, that its wines quality exceeds far beyond its status of the 1855 class. Limited quantity available, and exceptionally balanced white, creamy on the nose thanks to its aging process as the Must was exposed up to 6 months in barrels on lees with 50% French oak that provides enough complexity to keep your sense stimulated. Bright character, lemon peel, dry and yet some decent crispiness, a bit of mandarin and cream pie on the back end of the palate. Vinified to drink it young and fresh! If you find it, get it without hesitation, you will love it. — 4 months ago
A mid straw yellow in colour. Aromas are lemon and lime, lemongrass, mineral, wet hay with toastiness and lanolin starting to emerge at 13 years of age. Light bodied but great intensity - a richer texture for a Semillon, bearing in mind that this wine sees no oak at all - stainless steel all the way. Only 11% alcohol. Luckily I have 4 bottles left - a cellar life extending to 2030+. — 7 months ago
A beautifully balanced Chaleur Blanc with delicate sweet notes countered by some well appointed acidity. Finishes fast and smooth with only the tart acid lingering on. — 6 years ago
