It's almost criminal not to drink a great Rosé on a day like today. Pale rust color with a bouquet of strawberries, watermelon, and pink grapefruit. Super crisp and so bone dry with exceptional balance, as befitting a Ramey wine. 100% Syrah, this is all Provençal. Cranberries, more strawberries, peaches, and rose petals on the nose. Dry, peppery finish with a nice touch of minerality. Second labels are definitely where its at people. — 8 years ago

A lovely Garnett with some brick/rust color to the edges showing its age. This is the only indication that this wine has aged. Ripe moderate plus tannins with moderate plus acidity. Brandied cherries with plenty of leather, touch of tar, maybe even banana chips as it opens up. Tastes absolutely lovely. Could age another 10 years easily. Long finish. Great 2010 St. Helena Cabernet. Immediately leather, vanilla and oak permeate the nose. Mostly reds with a hint of rust in color. This wine is very well balanced between fruit, spice and oak. Flavors of blueberry, plum, up front with hints of cinnamon, cloves and black pepper and graphite at the finish. The Medium tannins blended with the high viscosity make this an easy wine to drink. — 10 years ago
