Enjoying a glass of Dr Loosen Blue Slate at sunset in the Polish Mountains after a good day of hiking. This doesn’t get any better..
The nose is a bit shy but shows citrusy touches, a bit of chalk, fresh white grape juice, white peach, white flowers. The palate is super fresh and precise despite some residual sugar. There are citrusy beams shining through and through, some grip in the rear, some lemon peel and a great, fresh finish that lasts for a while. It’s simple yet perfectly executed. A perfect sip to top up a great and active day. Life is good. — 4 months ago

Pale yellow color. Aromas of stone fruit, white flowers and citrus. Very interesting flavor melange of pear, lemon, orange and pineapple. Slight stony note on the long lasting finish. Right on the money with this Riesling! Straw in color and star bright. Nose was filled with lemon-lime, honeydew, Granny Smith apples, wild honey, citrus blossom, ginger, and new plastic pool toy aromas. The palate was extremely well balanced and the acidity was high and puckering. The tart lemon and lime flavors held through the finish. The finish was surprisingly long, and it was a nice medium-minus body. This Riesling provides a solid compliment to spicy sushi and spicy foods. It holds up strong and has a lot of backbone. All in all, this is your Riesling if you are looking for a refreshing, acidic, dry breath of fresh air. Instant favorite of mine! Washington dry Rieslings are spectacular. Cheers! — 9 years ago
