About what I rated the 09 in 2012 and the 14 in 2017. And I think I had a 12 not too long ago. These chards are good but this one particularly didn't hold a candle to a 14 Aubert Ritchie Chard. Hopefully not bottle variation on a 2015... Seemed to just not have a whole lot there. And I don't think it's because it is too astringent...the Judge wines seem to definitely rock it though. I got ahold of this one probably an hour after it had been open. — 7 years ago

This wine was great. Liked the first taste. Yes it had the oak and the butter, but it was balanced and it wasn't overdone. The wine evolved over the hour and the last sip was pure heaven. LOVED the last taste. — 9 years ago

Epitomizes Ritchie. I think this is actually better than Bevan’s. It’s not as butterscotch and powerful...shows some elegance. Nutty as always. New vineyard for this provider and, man, did it sing. Silky smooth with just the right amount of acidity on the finish. Wonderful stone fruit, cedar, and caramel. Looking forward to this vineyard for years to come. — 9 years ago

Interesting red from Emilio Bulfon. For those not familiar with this winery, his goal is to rescue old, nearly extinct Italian grape varietals and bring them back. Most of these grapes were common in Roman times, I believe, so these are pretty cool wines, geekily speaking. This one is pretty rich, but not quite as complete as the picolit neri riserva, which I think is his best. — 10 years ago
