Surprisingly great rooftop villages — 11 years ago
Okay, I'm a bit biased. I worked with the winemaker for a year and got these as a thank you for use of my rooftop car carrier. But that doesn't mean the wine wasn't good. He didn't become the head winemaker for nothin'. Rich and muscular. Smooth tannins and a finish that goes forever. — 12 years ago
2003 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico from our trip in Tuscany in Italy. Hands down the greatest dessert wine I have ever tasted. Aged for 6-8 years in a room on the rooftop of the villa in small chestnut wood barrels. Intense sweet aromas of figs, vanilla, honey etc...t least what the online review I read stated. I just thought it was excellent. Was €39 for a 375ml bottle and well worth it. — 13 years ago
Rooftop rose! — 11 years ago
This wine was a gift from a friend who visited the vineyard in France. I had the opportunity to drink another bottle at the Hotel Intercontinental's rooftop restaurant in Prague. It paired beautifully with the foie gras I had as an appetizer. — 12 years ago
Very good. Light enough for the summer but still flavorful. Rooftop with Tamara and Suzanne. Definitely want to buy it again. $13-15 — 13 years ago
