Great merlot at a good price. — 8 years ago
A beautiful, bright crisp rose. On the nose the classic notes of strawberry and watermelon with just a touch of citrus. The palate is crisp and bright with wonderful, fresh acidity. The palate is where the California fruit shows off. Juicy flavors of strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, and touches of citrus and peach balanced out by big, juicy acidity and just a touch of stony minerality. The finish is fresh and slightly herbal with nice juiciness and great acidity. Wonderful wine with fish tacos. — 9 years ago

Very good Zin. Perfect pairing with steak and sweet potatoes. Berries, spice, pepper, and a little vanilla. Dark color from the bourbon barrels. — 6 years ago
Hope family began their planting’s in 1978 & sold wine under the Hope Family label directly from the winery's tasting room. In 1990 the Hope ranches became the sole source of fruit for Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1996, they founded Treana Winery. A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon & 25% Syrah. Aromas of sweet berry & spice notes. Flavors of currants and ripe berry with cacao, pepper and vanilla spice. Full body, rich tannins, good balance ending on the spicy side. — 8 years ago
Very nice! Passion fruit, citrus and a nice mineral note. Really enjoyed the 2015. — 9 years ago
Fresh and grassy. Decent weight as well. — 9 years ago
Amazing pineapple and honeydew on the nose. Slight dryness, oakiness, butteriness and pineappleness (yes, pineappleness) on the palette. All the best ness' lol. This is a really, really delicious wine. Plus, it's pairing extremely well with the bits of cold leftover turkey I'm snacking on. The sweetness from the pineapple is balancing out the spiciness from the jalepeño quite nicely 😊 — 9 years ago
Fabulous wine at a very reasonable price. Very smooth with deliciously strawberry tones. — 7 years ago
Very fruity, more strawberries than plum and cherry. Not bad. With Bon. — 7 years ago
70 yr old vines, clay soil, 2200-2400 ft elevation, dry farmed, hand-harvested, 12.5 % alc, fruit from steep Pineridge Mtn outside Cloverdale, spread across 6 ranches, some traversed and harvested by the 70 yr old owner of these singular vineyard sites in Mendocino. Named Indica after the hemp-like herbal tones in this Carignan.
Fun fact: Carignan, olrinally from Spain (carinena) was France's most widely planted grape as recently as 1988. Through a govt sponsored rip-your vines-out incentive to vintners, Merlot surpassed this status by 2000. — 8 years ago
