Great wine. Long finish and a great nose. Classic Barolo. Need to decant at least one hour before drinking to allow this wine to open up. Very nice — 8 years ago
Tar, rose petals and everything Barolo should be, but don't see it getting any better with more time in the bottle — 8 years ago

Wine has deep gold color with exciting brightness. Nose is very elegant and complicated. There are crushed yellow fruits, flowers and honey hints. On the palate fresh acidity (med+) and elegant body (med). Wine has exciting balance and long sensual finish. — 11 years ago
Loved this so much thanks to Ryan M we having another bottle — 12 years ago
Classic Barolo--lots of tannic structure, ripe fruit but great acidity. Drinking well but I can't wait to taste it in ten years. Glad to have more in the cellar. — 13 years ago
Medium Ruby with complex aromas of floral, dark berry fruits, herbs and oak notes. On the palate raspberry and ripe cherry, savory with oak spice, a fresh earthiness and tightly wrapped spices. Tannins are very firm and needs at least 5 more years to start showing some finesse. Ling finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral. Let this one sit for a while. A little pricy. Rich nose with notes of leather and licorice. Full bodied, rich, potent, strong tannins, long aromatic finnish. Will develop further with some years in the cellar. — 8 years ago

A great example of the best of the Langhe region — 11 years ago
2006 vintage. Good old fashioned Barolo. Light colour and hue. Medicinal notes. Floral and red cherry. Gorgeous crunchy tannins. Long finish. This is a step up from the '89. Plenty of years ahead of this wine. Very good indeed. NB: after 2 hours this wine is singing: roses and tar to the fore, integrated tannins, crisp acidity. Bouquet is out of this world. — 11 years ago
Too young but still delicious — 11 years ago

Excellent! Strong bouquet but smooth drinking — 13 years ago
Last vintage until 2022. Smallest production. Most known. Longest to evolve. Tasting days with low pressure are not good — 7 years ago
Very delicious. Very smooth. — 8 years ago

Classic barolo with nice mature earthy floral aromas. Used to be available @gramercytavern — 11 years ago
Intensely aromatic. Black tea, rose petals, red cherry and tar. Every component feels accentuated but in a very balanced way. Lots of fruit, good amount of acid, solid tannic grip and long finish. — 11 years ago
All these are a little too young for me but drinking fairly well for their immaturity ..... — 12 years ago
