Soooo..... we have to renounce everything we have ever said about an Albariño. This is the second one we have had in Puerto Rico and it pairs so well with seafood - it may be a new favorite. Medium bodied, very pale yellow, light flora on the nose, semi-dry, mild green apple maybe pear with a twist of saline on the finish. (At Saltaire in Rincon PR. Tim had Korean stew/ Paula had ginger glazed Mahi mahi w/ smashed sweet potatoes) a lovely dinner after an afternoon on the beach at Playa Cabo roho. — 8 years ago

El Rincon 2007. Inky black, lots of tannins still tight and young. So, so, so tasty and alive. Need to find more. — 10 years ago

I personally like sweet reds, unlike any other red I've had. Very very sweet, with higher volume around 12-13%. This will really throw you a curve ball :) — 10 years ago
