2013 Rieslingfreak 'No.8 Schatzkammer Riesling from the Polish Hill River district in the Clare Valley, South Australia...a Schatzkammer of flavour intensity indeed, bursting with juicy limes, powdery, river pebble like texture adding grip across the palate. 20g residual perfectly balanced by its acidity. Germany salutes! — 12 years ago
Clare Valley Rizz with 11grams of RS. First pour and sniff had whiffs of cassia flowing through, this soon disappeared to show more textbook aromas of white florals, talc and ripe lemons and lime. Palate off-dry and similar spectrum to the nose with lychees joining the fray. — 10 years ago
Fortified Riesling. Complex, sugar but not sweet, candied citrus, petroleum, long finish — 11 years ago
