Totally enjoyable. Steamers and salmon. — 5 years ago
This wine screams “cherries!” ....red and black cherry with notes of cola and hints of allspice. Opens beautifully and still has tannic backbone. Structure and good mouth feel. A beautiful Pinot. — 7 years ago

Silky smooth, soft fruits. Hint of leather, cherries - maybe strawberries. Beautiful. — 9 months ago
Opened up a little funny with some top of bottle sediment, but with air got a lot better. A pretty rich almost funky pinot — 5 years ago
Licorice, acid, nice tannins. A little pucker afterwards. Good wine with dinner. Very good, but maybe not worth the $40 price tag. 2016 — 6 years ago
Paul Hobbs Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2012
・

Paul Hobbs is one of the greatest producers of California pinot noir. Opulent, floral and fruits forward in youth. This is my 2nd bottle of 2012 since 2015. The fruits have somewhat settled down. I remember my first experience with this floral, beautiful wine as clearly as if it had happened just yesterday.

Nice red, black fruit and cola notes. Savory herbs and organic earth mid-palate and on the finish. High alcohol takes it out of balance a bit. Needs time. — 10 years ago

Winner of the night. Yes 14.1% but still good. Plumy nose. Tannins fully resolved. Drink!!! Up. Lime, spices, Hint blueberry, violets. Touch cherry 🍒. Quite amazing. Who would have thought. Because typically i prefer Burghs. — 6 months ago
True to the region. Nice bouquet with flavors of green apples and honey dew. Good finish. Maybe a bit sour in the middle. — 7 months ago
Always a staple in the house — 8 months ago
One of the best Syrahs I’ve had. Complex nose of bittersweet chocolate, raspberries, cherries, smoke. The wine was very focused and fresh for 14 years old. Blackberry, black pepper, graphite, with a hit of menthol on the finish. Sadly, the last bottle of 2006 they had. Would def buy this again. #dumol #theunionhotel — 6 years ago

Bright gold color. Apple, minerals, stone fruit, and camomile on the nose. Same on the palate. Very rich, deep wine. Drinking well now. — 5 months ago
