New Years resolution for 2017- drink through the older wines in my collection. I am getting an early start. 😀 — 9 years ago
Gordon's northern Rhone tasting 9/20/16. Seemed more closed off than younger vintages. Still nicely balanced but tannin seems a bit more edgy even if not biting but might be sign of starting resolution? Finish a bit shorter but very complex. — 10 years ago
Cherry blossom nose, if a bit closed. Stoking tannin and pitch change to mushroom, forest floor resolution. — 10 years ago
Bursting guava nose. Brilliant citrus leaf resolution. — 10 years ago
Easy drinking #barolo - living my #newyears resolution well. #drinkmoreitalian #wine — 11 years ago

2017 resolution: drink more Italian whites. Nose was restrained tropical fruits, slightly buttery with nice salinity on the back end. Good. Night 2: better, richer, rounder. — 9 years ago

If your looking for a good looking Pinot Noir look no further with spicy berry and cherry aromas, savoury flavours and velvety lingering palate this new vintage is absolutely fabulous. — 10 years ago
Ringing in the new year with find memories of our trip to Willamette. Looking forward to our next adventures. New Years Resolution: More Wine, Less Whine. — 10 years ago
Restrained spice aroma. Gripping tannins slowly release herbal resolution. — 12 years ago
Continuing my NY resolution to try/reconnect with American Pinots this year & this certainly makes me excited about that. Structured & serious Pinot with higher toned cranberry & pomegranate notes on the palate. Soaring red fruit & earthy/smoky aromatics are the star here. I don't know if enough data exists to tell me to put Lioco in the cellar to age, but based on this, I think it will age beautifully. — 9 years ago
Such high resolution, snout to tail. — 9 years ago
Metallic Syrah attack fades to blackberry mid palate. Chewy, chalky, coco powder resolution. Floral aromas show out of decanter. Curious as it is lengthy. — 10 years ago
Amazing elegance and refined red fruit the best fizzy gamay noir I've tried so I'll stick to my #2014 resolution… drink more bubbles! Best value for sparkling méthode traditionnelle — 11 years ago
Matt Duncan
Marked at first by round sweet oak attack, with subtle bing cherry behind. Juniper berry, plum mid palate comes out as it warms. Cedar, fresh blackberry resolution after 90 mins. — 9 years ago
