Fantastic bottle. — 10 years ago
Peppercorn, loamy earth and limestone meet plum on the nose. More black cherry than red, with a strong mid palate that transitions effortlessly to an elevated, almost floral (purple flowers) finish. Tannins are well integrated at this point. Enjoyed following 3 hr decant. — 10 years ago
Butter, mineral; candyish lemon, butter; littly candyish, butter, very light — 11 years ago
2005 Cherry and tobacco- spice, just past prime. Still good tannins but a slightly fortified impression. — 8 years ago
This is the Block I cab from St Helena winery. Pretty impressed with how this has held up - still a lot of fruit on the nose, while at the same time acquiring some nice secondary components on both the nose and the palate. My guess is that this one is probably at peak - wouldn't recommend holding onto it for too much longer. — 8 years ago
Good cider — 9 years ago
Great wine for everyday drinking. Good body and fruit. Pairs nicely with so much. — 9 years ago
So I bought this at WFM to make a pork and cider stew and my lord, what a nice surprise. Needless to say I mashed an apple with whoite for that stew instead. Find it people. I rarely drink anything but bone dry cider — 9 years ago
Excellent NZ Chardonnay for such a young wine (2014). Oaky, stone and hazelnut flavours, ripe fruit. Had with Japanese food which was a pleasant conbo. — 10 years ago
Best red I have had in a longtime — 11 years ago
Smells like the gauzy part of a band-aid caked with fresh-dried blood & hay. Totally into it. — 13 years ago

Very delicate; sweetness on palate. Amazing with desserts and even cheese pizzas. — 8 years ago
18- 1999. Robust, still some tannin, rich Pinot nose, young appearance, good fruit. Not subtle! — 9 years ago
Good rich flavor, not overpowering sweetness. Strong berry flavors, not alcoholy tasting at all. One of the better MN wines. — 9 years ago
1995 Dom. Laurent NSG Les Vaucrains - The wine is showing beautifully. Still a bunch of primary notes, harmoniously integrated with some secondary tones. — 10 years ago
M- intensity. Citrus, lemon, green grass. Dry on the front palate. A bit chalky. — 10 years ago
Fantastic. Not your average Otago Pinot, but they turned consistently good into great. Light & bouncing with flavour. — 10 years ago
Thick and juicy, yummy — 11 years ago
