Ok I get it, this is an exact replica of Gonon's St. Joseph but let's be honest, those fruity island wine characteristics still come through like a clown at the farmers market. For the money? Definitely in a bout against Gonon it's holding its value...just ever so slightly. — 7 years ago
Butternut replica AT HALF THE PRICE. Trader joes $7 — 8 years ago
Consoling myself with this after having to miss an annual party that features port in a replica Holmes studio. This is good, quite nice. Nothing epic, but still good. — 8 years ago
Spettacolare! — 11 years ago
I read that this was similar to the Meiomi pinot noir. It is DELICIOUS. And a little less expensive, too. — 7 years ago
Got a bottle to taste at home and decided to try this with my team. Turned out to be very pleasant. Almost a KJ replica except that it wasn't as over Oaked and didn't have that smothered butter you'd expect with these California chardonnays. Great price, solid wine. — 7 years ago
Wow!!! Orange marmalade and ginger. An outstanding whiskey! — 8 years ago
Going for that burgundy replica. Nailing it! 😉 despite the winemakers claim on the bottle this actually did feel delicate and had just the right amount of acidity and leather to keep me coming back for more. I can remember when I bought this a few years ago, I think the winemaker was clear about it being clone 667 in 50% new oak, whatever that means at this point. — 9 years ago
Tasty. Fruit forward. Bright. Lots of cherry. — 7 years ago
A vivid resonance of dark red apples and gritty spice. — 7 years ago
Hefty! Great dark fruit and oak flavors...almost like cinnamon and nutmeg. Pairing this wine with blue cheese fritters is as an amazing a pairing as Dire Straights and Eric Clapton at Wembley '88: seamless perfection at every moment.
(Rumor has it that this wine is an exact replica of the wine Jesus created from his blood) — 8 years ago
