The 2nd GC White Burgundy of the day. Nose not giving much - a little closed and sadly the wine a bit cold. The palate a little more restrained and medium bodied than the Jacques Carillon. — 6 years ago
Really nice Syrah. 2009 Well balanced now. — 9 years ago

A Northern Rhône take on a Southern Rhône blend - less stewed fruit, more floral and herbal and nuance. Lovely. — 4 years ago
Traditional excellent Northern Rhône heritage is on display and proof is in this wine. A smooth red blend exhibiting hidden ripe berries. With an intensity to pair well with burgers and family gatherings. — 5 years ago
Aromas of Granny Smith apples, lemon tart, raw pastry dough, steel, and marlstone with hints of cardamom and vanilla. — 7 years ago
Premier cru. Another Chardonnay for the dinner matching salmon. Hmmm, paring is not that as expected. — 8 years ago
Blind tasted. So confusing and delicious. Need More. Want more. — 8 years ago

Discrete nose of white fruit with pears and also a slight minty and smoke feel, very discrete. The palate is gorgeous, such balance between the perfect acidity and slight richness of fruit and elegance. Another great 2017 CDB. 90-91
Nez discret de poires et une touche de menthe et de fumée mais sans déranger. Le vin est délicieux, quel équilibre entre cette tension appuyée et cette richesse de fruit, juste parfait. Un autre beau blanc 2017. 90-91 + — 4 years ago
Melon, apple, stone, on the nose / creamy, plush, giving palate / mineraled finish that leans crisp / presence of oak and slight new oak is apparent on this completely solid, totally pleasurable entry-level bottle 👌 — 7 years ago
Bright, tight, and champing at the bit. Racy acid and cool fruit sitting nimbly on a perch of earth and spice. Finish that won't quit. Drank it too soon but still a great treat. Gift from a colleague at my wife's job. I've never met her but I like her. A lot. — 8 years ago

2002 vintage. All meunier in honor of Rene Collard the Marne Valley meunier master. Great acid structure, but with broadness from the grape, barrel development, and aging on the cork. This is labeled de Meric, but it's the same single-foeder production as later disgorgments labeled Ginsburg. — 9 years ago
With my wife. The wine was pale lemon in colour and offered bouquet of flowers, citrus, peach, orange peel, almond, fresh sea breeze and mineral notes on the nose. On the palate the wine showed white flowers, stone fruit, peach, orange peel and almond, complicated by a salty mineral touch, paired with medium-level acidity, a great, buttery mouthfeel, and very good length. The medium- to full-bodied wine had good complexity and tasted concentrated yet fresh. A great Condrieu! 92 — 11 years ago
Flinty with rich acidity. Not fruity. Been sitting this for a while and it's come along well. — 12 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon with medium+ intensity aromas of stone, tropical and citrus fruits with vanilla oak, spice and bread notes. On the palate ripe apple, pear, melon, creamy lemon fruit flavors with notes of wet stone and warm vanilla oak, medium+ balance with vivid acidity. Long finish ending with nutty oak, baking spice and mineral notes. Very Good but can get better with some bottle age. — 4 years ago
