In honor of game 6, I am opening this bottle from @David A Lentine to help an anxious cubs fan get through the next couple of hours. Thanks to @LM Segal for the decant time heads up to align with game time. I am an hour in and going to let it sit a bit more to soften. @Paul T brought the big guns with Kershaw, but the cubs have too many sticks. Thanks for bolting to Orlando @Daryl Calhoun - no invite?!? #iaintafraidofnogoat Thanks again @David A Lentine for sharing this one. TN Update - working on 3 hours decanted and it is starting to shine. Soft on the palette with black cherries, strong raspberries, and vanilla. I have to add very juicy - haven't had something with this mouthwatering effect before. On the nose raspberry and flower box come through on this ruby gem. — 8 years ago
Sensual. Big. Not as good as my boyfriend though.

Absolutely glorious Pinot Noir. Scorched earth mushrooms. Yummy. The toasted heads of the oak still noticeable 23 years later. An amazing effort most people will never get a chance to taste. — 9 years ago

Can only be described as incredibly unique and diverse. 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Gris. Aromatic, but not exquisitely so, merely hints of floral and spice. Initially white fruits grab you on the palate - grapefruit & white peach. Then it takes an unorthodox turn and heads toward rhubarbs and sea brine on the mid palate and lengthy finish. Could venture drinking this with all sorts of dishes. To add to its uniqueness, it is merely 11%. — 8 years ago
Really nice bottle before Arif heads to Turkey for 3 weeks! — 9 years ago
More fruity than I was expecting, but still enjoyable and one I'll buy again. — 9 years ago
2001. 1h decant. Awesome plum, blackberry, cedar, cigar box, soy and balsamic, currants and crushed stones. Good lively acidity with good tannins. Good place now, drink up before this heads for the geriatric ward and limps into old age. big time value play. — 9 years ago

Bought at Carlton Winemakers Studio — 7 years ago
Had it on 8/7/16 at Studio @ The Montage with the Provost's celebrating Jake's bday. It was BYOB. Had kept bottle home for years based on Sherry Lehman reco only to end up staying at Franc Mayne during recent trip to Saint-Emilion. Old juice, just as Tere loves them. — 8 years ago

Still presenting its self as a young tightly wound wine when opened. After a hour half, up showed the seductive lady that began turning heads. After 5-hours she was soft balanced had a wonderful mouth feel on the front, mid, & back palette. Integrated Black fruit, with a touch of cedar — 9 years ago
Pretty amazing. 30 mins to open up and bam! It's all there. Thanks @Lyle Fass for the heads up via Delectable. Showing nicely right now. — 9 years ago
Enjoyed this with Tom and R. At Corners.
This 2012 Prisoner held us hostage with captivating fruit velvety tannins, and lush finishes. I'm an inmate for this wine, as I have followed this felon for years now.
Last nights bonus, the wine was picked by the table next to us...happen to be one of the heads of... U guessed it....the winery. Pay it forward! Ron — 9 years ago
