Refreshing acidity and structure amongst some CA chards from earlier. Oak felt a little heavy handed but my expectations might have been skewed (re: Marlborough Sauv. b.). — 10 years ago
We thoroughly enjoyed this cabernet with a ra rare steak, sweet potatoes, two vegetables and a little gravy. It was smooth and certainly had enough body for our taste. — 10 years ago

Crispy sour green apples, great zippy acidity...went great with my spicy Chinese fatty pork. Nice display of the terroir of New Zealand. — 10 years ago
Got this bottle on our honeymoon. I'd say it's best when young. Slightly floral, light, almost effervescent. — 10 years ago
2005 vintage. Nose showing the Cabernet influence. The palate more the Shiraz. Not a Barossa blockbuster like its big brother Amon Ra. Good with little lamb steaks. 17+. — 11 years ago

my favorite vintage [2012] of this southern Oregon Bordeaux-style blend, after the '09. drinking very nicely now with medium-plus in power, good dark fruit, and balanced oak. Have drank many times on its own but overall would recommend with food... nice wine, nice price... great on the 2nd day too — 9 years ago

A step up from their standard Pinot. This is the Single Vineyard 5182 Pinot Noir. Certified organic and named NZ Winery of the year in 2014. Home to the oldest Pinot vines in the region in Marlborough better know for the massive amounts of Sauvignon Blanc produced there. Aromatic in the red fruit spectrum with notes of cherry and a hint of raspberry. Silky tannins - a quality wine I will seek out back in Oz. With only 11 hectares there is not much to go around. — 8 years ago
