A step up from their standard Pinot. This is the Single Vineyard 5182 Pinot Noir. Certified organic and named NZ Winery of the year in 2014. Home to the oldest Pinot vines in the region in Marlborough better know for the massive amounts of Sauvignon Blanc produced there. Aromatic in the red fruit spectrum with notes of cherry and a hint of raspberry. Silky tannins - a quality wine I will seek out back in Oz. my favorite vintage [2012] of this southern Oregon Bordeaux-style blend, after the '09. drinking very nicely now with medium-plus in power, good dark fruit, and balanced oak.
