Amazing aged Riesling - this bottle turned out better than the last. Stewed and bruised golden apples, still-kicking acid, almond/caramel type nuttiness. Held up well with time! — 8 months ago

Tasted over Christmas 2024. My first time trying Pol Roger, and a really great experience – this was a tick above many of the Grandes Marques and I found it to be quite refined. I suspect the dosage is fairly high, since it was so very drinkable, but no complaints from me! — 7 months ago
Last night (NYE). Good stuff. Not overly fruity and not dry. Nice balance. — 6 years ago
Great champagne blend with sharp bubbles and toasted caramel notes. Some green apple. Excellent especially at $25. — 6 years ago

Probably the best rose champagne I've ever had. Light on bubbles, but full on taste. — 9 years ago
At #bardotbrasserie in #aria hotel and casino. Mistake with the steaks. Ended up with 4! Needed a greasy red for all that red meat!!!! — 10 years ago
Cote du Rhône blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%). Deep garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black berry fruit, garrigue and baking spices. Same fruit flavors (very ripe) with notes of black licorice, black pepper and vanilla. Medium-plus finish and well balanced acidity. Smooth texture and tannins. This wine expresses the two varietals in the blend beautifully. Exceptional quality for the price. Revisited in February 2025. Solid. — 7 months ago
This is a delightful and classic champagne. It has a lot of the yeasty character to complement it’s fruit and a lovely, fine mousse. But personally, what always moves me about this wine is remembering that it was the one my late brother always used to drink with his partner. Every time I have it, it lets me feel like I am celebrating with him again. — 7 months ago
Blend of Pinot Noir (66%), Chardonnay (35%) and Meunier (3%) Medium gold color. Aromas and flavors of citrus, apple cider, ripe pear, white flowers and freshly baked bread. Touch of oxidation. Large amount of soft mousse and consistent bubbles. Fruit forward and well structured. So light, crisp and refreshing. Cheers to Baby Amelia!!! — 8 months ago
Detta är en av de bästa jag druckit. Torr kraftig och fräsch. — 5 years ago

80% Chardonnay with a splash of Pinot Noir, zero added sulphur. Ripe yellow fruit over toast. Perfect — 8 years ago
Five years cork age on this beauty; glad the decision was taken to drink (now who relies on natural cork); wildly full of pinot noir development; nose heaviness; layers of mature pinot tertiary aromatics; such as herbal oils, deep nuts, mushroom, aged yeast bits too; drunk with raw scallop, celery, fennel shavings, mullet bottarga; dressed with lime, olive oil; Pol brings out the savouriness of the green vegetables; salt of the sea, sweetness of scallop; all veges home grown; palate is full on; powerful, not the massiveness of Winston Churchill but same mould; square wine which hardly tapers in the mouth; the amazing feats of champagne! @polroger #polroger #champagne #1999 #pinot — 11 years ago
