Dark red. Fruit forward nose with creme de cassis and green peppers. Dryer than the 2007 Quivet Spring Mountain District Cabernet. Moderate tannins and body that are well integrated. Finish lingers and is drinking great right now. 10 years has done well for this wine. — 9 years ago

After 3 hrs decant this was peaking. Huge sweet fruit and spice on the nose at opening but this turns into something special. Full body, opulent, neverending dark fruit, and medium + finish. This and the quivet napa are amazing cabs for 60 bucks and under. 94/95pts — 9 years ago

My first of these, purchased on release. I really like this. Purple and red berries with a streak of minerality and a hint of dried mint leaf in the finish. Terrific companion to grilled pork tenderloin drizzled with aged balsamic. — 9 years ago
