GL Portugal tasting 2/15/17. Nose with violets and savoriness that seemed to have opened up with time. At first more fruit driven. Palate that's really complex and yummy. More complex than'13 which suffered from a heat wave. 60% new oak and. Only 48 bottles left! — 7 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Made from low yielding 90-year old vines, deep Ruby with aromas of red/black fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cacao, black pepper and floral citrus. Firm tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice but needs a few years in big the bottle!! — 4 years ago
