Tastes like sadness, in a beautiful way. — 10 years ago
Storng alcohol burn, typical porto aroma married to nutty and black fruit smells. Very caramel-y and raisin-y with medium body and a long surprisingly toasty finish. Like toasted rice crispies. First 10 yr old port I've had and I like it. Pairs well with fudge with peanut putter — 7 years ago
More elegant than the tinto. — 8 years ago
Wow! Amazing wine! You won't miss the barrel on this beauty. As the fruit tannins are omnipresent. Spicy with red currant and caperberry playing alongside gooseberry, blackberry and boisenberry seamlessly. Your first thought is grape-y, but that would be an abecedarian conclusion. This is wine with depth, unlike pretenders in unoaked territory, and entirely satisfying in every sense! Brava! Abrigado! — 8 years ago
Отличное вино для своей категории. Нос: шелковица, черешня, гранат, георгины, специи. Рот: чернослив, вяленая вишня, нота дуба, тёрн. Приятное послевкусие. — 9 years ago
Found this on a sale rack for 11 bucks. Great value and nice tannin fruit life left in the wine. Super smoky and savory. Would like this with BBQ — 9 years ago
I have yet to have a Touriga Nacional blend that inspires greatness. This is a good quaffing wine for the cheap price. Portugal is a nice untapped area as far as getting steals on your wine goes. — 9 years ago
One of the best examples of Encruzado that I've had. Chalk and brightness. Intense length. Lots of palate play. — 10 years ago
