Heerlijk wijn bij het kerstdiner — 6 years ago
Excellent Syrah. $14.99 at Grocery Outlet and it tasted like it was $40 wine. Had it with a spicy curry dish and it performed well. — 7 years ago
Lovely, lively white wine — 8 years ago

Joli Gamay vinifie en fut. Du fruit mais de la structure. A l'apero et a table, ;-) — 12 years ago
Funky, fun and well balanced wine. Chamomile tea, apple, and grasses. Reminds me of Spanish ciders and was so good with grilled Tiger Prawns. — 6 years ago
Pale gold color. Pronounced aromas of ripe apple, white peach, blossom, vanilla, brioche, a hint of honey. Medium acidity, medium+ body, pronounced flavor of ripe lemon zest, ripe yellow apple, vanilla, white pepper, hint of green leaves. Long finish.
Intense, balanced. Very good. Drink now, has potential . — 7 years ago
The usual Cab Franc aromas of tea, olives, and herbs but with more fruit on the nose than I expected. Well put together wine with some nice acidity and structure. Nothing light and fluffy on the palate, it's all dark and earthy. Raspberries, earth funk, bay leaves, and just the right amount of oak. — 8 years ago
Savoury whole bunch goodness! — 9 years ago
Found it on a wine list in a restaurant. Took a punt and - bingo! Fresh and light, crisp with an elegant nose and a remarkable fine finish. Not bad for being near the bottom of the price list. What a find!

Château La Vieille Bergerie Quercus Pecharmant Rouge 2015, France
It's Thursday and it's time for #MerlotThursday. Here is a nice French Merlot blend.
Dark ruby in color with a dirty purplish rim.
Strong nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, dried figs, tobacco, vegetables, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, peppercorn, dust and vinaigrette.
Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, blueberries, wood, cloves, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light vegetables, leather, earth, peppercorn, pencil lead, spices and bitter herbs.
Medium plus on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a nice surprise. A bold French blend with nice complexity and a great mouthfeel. Still young, from a great vintage, and 5 years in the bottle will make it better. Too bad we didn't have enough patience... 😃
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins and structure.
Thank you, Eric, for sharing this with me.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Smooth and complex. Great finish. #hughesandkisses — 8 years ago
A bit like watermelon. Very good. — 9 years ago
This seriously punches above its weight and wears its vanilla oak cloak like a true g! Ground coffee, rich cherry fruit, very expressive with notes of wet tobacco leaf & mint. Big boned in the mouth, tannins dry out the mid palate a touch but bags of rich black fruit. Would give a lot of modern style rioja at twice the price a run for their money. This is BIG oak done in a good way, the fruit can handle it on the palate. Hope they don't try to slim this down in future vintages. — 10 years ago
The best Pinot Noir around. As smooth as can be with every flavor you want. A beautiful wine. $50 — 11 years ago
