Apple, lemon, wet stone. Racy, vibrant acidity and tons of mineral on the palate. Unfiltered. — 5 years ago
Crozes-Hermitage gets no respect, but this domaine is bringing some serious wine to table. Inky and intense color. Smoke, game, olives and a burst of violets on the nose. Purity and focus on the entry, revealing succulent, juicy blackberry on the mid palate. Tannins are silky smooth but provide plenty of structure, reminding me of chewing on a soft, ripe blackberry. There’s a tensile quality about this wine- dense on the palate but with plenty of movement. Loving the balance and contrast going on here. Approachable, full of youthful fruit, a little playful and an excellent food wine. Drink now or enjoy for another 5 or so years. — 7 years ago
Complex. Very. Max minerals, flowers, fresh cotton sheets. Gedditinya. — 9 years ago
Ian Cauble's recommendation to decant for 30 minutes and serve between 45-50 degrees. We thoroughly enjoyed this dry medium bodied Riesling. — 9 years ago
Wow! More like a Jura wine, tastes similar to ploussard. — 10 years ago
Very good. More depth. Pinot meunier gave it more flavor. — 6 years ago
Good classic Champagne taste. Pear and a bit of toast. Lots of fine bubbles. A bit foamy for my taste but well made and re freshingly crisp. — 8 years ago
White flowers and touch of honey on the nose. Opens with fruit, apricot, citrus. You can taste the oak from the barrel aging but it's balanced and in the background. A clean finish with a touch of alcohol that seems the only kink in an otherwise beautiful Chenin Blanc. — 9 years ago
Maybe my first New Zealand Pinot. Very interesting — 9 years ago
A bit disappointing compared to the prior versions. Light, creamy mouth feel, very low lees notes but the mineral precision is not quite there — 5 years ago

I can't stop drinking this... This might be a good problem... Dark red ruby in color with a medium-plus intensity. The nose is filled with dark bing cherries, fresh cranberries, wet violets, wild mushrooms, moss, forest floor, smoked wood, and wet rocks. The palate was fleshy, mysterious and refined. Mushrooms and a perfect dose of acidity and chewy tannic structure made the finish irresistible. It's balance competes and stands tall with any of the great Burgundy producers. It's truly astonishing how this 12.5% Gamay is so complex. This bottle is hard to put down. Cheers to a perfect Friday night! — 9 years ago
Green apples, grapefruit and floral. Hints of traditional Loire sauv blanc as it opened up. Medium + body, medium acid. Med plus finish. A great start to the night. — 9 years ago

A Southern 🌍🌏🌎 Hemisphere wine theme for a small dinner with a dear friend. Some older bottles from our cellar and some younger bottles from another cellar. Paired this evening with Asian-style braised beef short ribs (Kinderhook Farm; Valatie, NY) and grilled polenta.
Notes possibly...Scores honestly. — 4 years ago
