Wonderful bottle of wine! — 4 years ago
Great cab for the price. Amazing nose, lighter and crisper, more subtle than your typical California cab. Red fruit, soft tannins, not too plump. Not very spicy/peppery. Great. — 6 years ago
Excellent. Light end of spectrum but great fruit touch of pepper. Do over... — 8 years ago
I couldn't believe that this was the winner of the evening against all high branded wines. Love this wine! — 8 years ago
Fresh and lively. Cherry and pomegranate with crushed rocks, moss and weee bit of funk. All working and a nice price point. Worked well with Texas style Q — 9 years ago

Nice Bordeaux, not overextracted or overoaked, plain delicious and good Q/P. — 5 years ago
After settling in the cellar for a bit, opened and let breath. Wonderful nose. Coombsville cab’s have a distinctive nose vs their Howell Mountain counterparts. Bold flavors. Black cherry, blackberry, toffee, cedar, tobacco leaves. — 5 years ago
A deep ruby appearance. Full of pungent fortitude fruit notes, that delivered amazing results with a chocolate tart. The lush blackberry, dark cocoa meets gritty wood notes left you wanting more. — 6 years ago
Such a beautiful spot right now. Wish this producer was more readily available in the states. So much life left. — 7 years ago
Well started this weekend with blends and ended it as well. Jammy, nicely done. Cab sauv, Cab franc, merlot, malbec, petit verdot, and syrah. The only thing missing is personally I would've thrown in some grey goose but hey that's just me. But seriously fruity, oaky, rich dark color. Nice lingering palate. Throw a steak on the Q and enjoy. Thank you. Don't mind if I do. — 8 years ago
De los q más me gustaron, el que más en los dulces, dulce pero sin ser demasiado pesado — 8 years ago
Another winner from the heralded 2010 vintage, this amazing Q/P-ratio wine captures the essence of Nebbiolo. Rich, almost smokey, pretty decadent nose with crushed, white flowers complementing the tar, asphalt and red berries aromas, all nicely echoed on the accessible yet age-worthy palate. Load up the truck! — 9 years ago
This is a big wine so it pairs well with a hearty meal. Excellent Portuguese find that has intense flavors and a bit of spice. — 9 years ago

The cork right after opening smelled like honey, green apples, and pineapple. The nose smelled of yeast and fermented pineapple immediately after opening, but now with some time more honey and less yeast with an almost marzipan-esque smell. The palate transfers through from the cork with riper pineapple, honey and a sweeter apple. The finish is a bit of dried apricot. Acidity rushes down the sides of the tongue. This is nice with my panko crusted chicken and roasted carrots. — 4 years ago
