Ok, so why don't we just drink this all the time? Oyster shells & minerals, oh my! And it's not THAT expensive. — 10 years ago
Lightly colored. Expressive nose that could be described as a mix of lemon juice poured over rocks and sea shells, very mineral and fresh. On the palate it is tight, fresh, salty and mineral with crispy green apple over a vigorous acidity. A real summer wine! Very good+ (89)

Perfect shrimp boil wine. Nice and cold. Covered in shrimp shells — 11 years ago
These supposedly off years by old great producers are simply gems... Extreme front to back balance, sun drenched hay, touch of dry peach, apricot pits, crushed pebbles, shells, bits of honeysuckle, and a soft acid backbone that lingers and touches your spine. Better than most grand cru's I have had in famous vintages. Speaks more to development than popular knowledge/science which is never meets great expectations in wine. Try it to love and live it ! — 12 years ago

Chalky goodness, oyster shells, slaty brine, sour green apple and toasted almond. This chablis draws you in and teases you with a full body and marksmanship acidity. Showing a strong backbone, it produces a long finish and envelopes as it goes. — 10 years ago
