Rich, unctuous tropical fruits on the nose, palate has a dry, slightly bitter edge to it but good intensity & length. Smashed out some slow cooked pork belly! — 10 years ago

Pleasant Swiss red - delicate, light with a nice bouquet and an easy finish on the tongue....more to Swiss then the cheese!! — 12 years ago

Wine with flavors including banana, peach and apple are balanced with bright acidity. Satin mouth is unctuous but not oily, with a long finish that stats balanced. — 10 years ago

Pale gold with earthy hazelnuts on the nose; dry, bright acidity with citrus notes on the palate. Elegant with an attractive plump viscosity.

2011 vintage. Beautiful. I love this wine, and am sad I won't be working with it anymore. Top shelf white Burg if it was made in Switzerland. — 10 years ago
Delicious and incredibly unique Swiss white. Paired perfectly with pate and cheese, as well as fish. — 11 years ago

Dr.Meandor
Tasted 28/04/2016
Vibrant, intriguing, eloquent nectar made of Heida (Savagnin Blanc), idiosyncratic to Valais.
Dense shimmering brass color, golden glitters.
Wet hay, mint, soaked apples, quince, sage, limestone, pinecone. Caramelized peach.
Fat-bodied, zesty palate. Lively acidity supported by tough mineral kick and kumquat peels, unripe cantaloupe, bruised quince, laurel, sage flavors.
Interminable finish...
Unique winexperience!

Pairings... I tried several ones.
First was 'C_Bro favorite': cute little bunny, trapped, skinned, disemboweled and baked in sourcream with allspice, garlic, onion, juniper, carrots and thyme.
Than - moderatetly spicy grilled reindeer sausages.
And finally mature + blue mold cheese plate.
All three played well. — 9 years ago
