— 4 years ago
Excellent, almost basque cider like gentle tart. Straw yellow haze, probably some skin contact. — 5 years ago

When I was a kid my mom would put salt on a lemon wedge and suck out the juice as a kind of after meal palate cleanser. This is kind of like that. — 7 years ago
A month of skin contact and a year in amphora
Mainly Procanico which is a typical variety of the Northern Lazio
The result is muscular, little tannic, with a mix of stone fruits and a remarkable mineral that gives a bonus to this very enjoyable orange wine.
As per many other macerated it showed better when a bit warmer.
Long aftertaste
I was very pleased with this bottle — 3 years ago
This stuff is so delicious. My head is pounding this morning because I also drank other natty wines, cloudy beers, and crappy beers; but this stuff was the winner of birthday celebration in the park! — 5 years ago
fun orange with medium+ tannins, tangy aftertaste — 6 years ago
Had the 2016, and this 17 is probably a bit better. So so good. First, it's really not as acidic as I would like. Both a good and bad thing. When enjoying lighter fare without a lot of sauce or spice, this Berganorio is a perfect match. Comprised of 30% Procanico, 30% Grechetto, 20% Malvasia, 15% Verdelho, and 5% Drupeggio, this wine is mildly acidic up front, but balanced by lighter lemon, lime and grapefruit that morphs into a wine that is more weighted and mature than expected through the middle and finish. Although the notes are always on the lighter, more tropical side, the wine doesn't ever take a thin or uninspiring side. Although I will definitely say that I don't think this one is really intended to age. Well done Velette! — 7 years ago

Interesting wine from Umbria. Floral fruity on the nose, it’s quite rich on the palate with a long finish. Very good with seafood. — 3 years ago
