Wonderful smooth flavour- very mellow and completely enjoyable 💗 — 10 years ago
Young but good. This wine will be wonderful in a couple years. Powerful on the nose, deep purple in color, and moderate to full body. Hints of chocolate, tobacco, and deep woods berries with a slightly astringent finish. — 10 years ago

Dark plum color. Uninteresting nose. Plum flavors. Sweet, but not cloying. Light balanced tannins and acidity. Full flavor without being heavy. Very easy to drink. I really like this wine. — 13 years ago

Absolute treat to have a 1977 next to a 2009. 77 was smooth with little fruit but paired beautifully with the filet. '09 was still fruit forward and jammed some tannins -- could sit another 5-10 years. — 8 years ago
Bold flavor, very enjoyable. — 8 years ago

Luving Mondavi’s new line of barrel aged wines. A beautiful twist on the same old varietal wines. This merlot is my favorite. I highly recommend the bourbon barrel aged Chardonnay too. — 7 years ago
