Produced a full head of cappuccino brown, that left a plethora of primitive dinosaur hieroglyphs. Completely opaque and dark as strong coffee. Turkish coffee impression similarly informs the aromas, with a raspberry-dark chocolate streak, a tiny dust of licorice, and some burnt caramel. Mouthfeel is stout perfection, bordering on whole milk with chocolate syrup. Espresso, gingerbread, burnt wheat, bitter, baker’s chocolate, allspice, dried cassis, wormwood, and burnt lavender. #doublestout #stout #beer #beerbeerbeer #greenflash #abv #stoutout #beeroclock #beerculture #beerdrinkers #stoutitallout #? — 8 years ago
Gotta confess that I just love Primitivo wines. Nothing to do with my primitive mind and only in part fueled by my primo interest in a great bargain. These wines are pleasure to drink, fruity, open and friendly without a cheap streak in their character — 10 years ago
More primitive style of Northern Rhone, but more accessible than its predecessors. Savory, meaty, and leathery with purple flowers and trying to smell like black olives. Plenty of acidity and great balance. — 10 years ago
2011 WOW my friend Sal gave it to me. Primitivo is Zin right? wrong! It's f***ing primitive! — 11 years ago

Brambly dark fruits with lots of skin tannins and feral qualities. This wine is more "primitive" in style but contemplative in a very good way. — 10 years ago
That's one serious brew. 2700 bottles, out of PA. — 10 years ago
Come back to this often for something interesting, refreshing, like unsweetened cherry cola that’s a bit shocking in a primitive. — 7 years ago

Anice Stallato—drinks likes a white, smells like gavertz with lychee and a little soapiness. A bit primitive like an orange wine. Rich and floral.

Primitive is such an under rated grape. This Italian Zin went quick with an Asian inspired dinner. Candied dates and figs. Rich, round and finished with maybe half % of residual sugar. Delicious!!! — 10 years ago
This is an exciting pet Nat. Sweet Malvasia. Cloudy thick and primitive. Honeysuckle. Beer wine. Will go great with Thai. — 10 years ago
