Classic Bordeaux, from an overlooked vintage. Great primary cassis and red currant fruits are now accompanying secondary bouquet notes of graphite, leather, and earth. Apologize for the filter on the image, I was drinking! — 11 years ago
Wonderfully enjoyable wine. Seemed very well advanced for such a young pup. Round and balanced with all the right primary fruit aromas layered with developed earth and coffee notes. — 12 years ago
Very beautiful wine: bright acid and fresh forward primary aromas; youthful, elegant and complex — 11 years ago
1999. Ripe cherry, oak well integrated and nice balance of primary and secondary. — 11 years ago
Nice drinking table red — 12 years ago
Ripe red fruit. Healthy showing of spice and tobacco. Silky mouthfeel, lifted weight. Clean acid. Drinking well, however still primary with glimpses of depth and age. Excited to watch this go for the long haul. — 11 years ago
2005 and 2010 Harlan. C'est magnifique! 2005 was slightly more shallow from the last tasting, suggesting the wine is evolving yet again. Still primary, with a bit more earth. The 2010 - spectacular. Need more of this, particularly in large formats. Built for the ages. Really love these wines in moderate to cool years so the terroir gets a chance to shine. Bravo — 11 years ago

Some good primary fruit and reasonable acidity giving good length. Some developing complexity. Intriguing wine that went well with our gyros! — 11 years ago
