@Chris MacLean you would like this wine. Like a Greek version of barbera good acidity and well structured — 6 years ago
The Osteiner grape is a German grape variety created from crossing of Riesling and Silvaner. Despite its German roots, Rippon is perhaps the most notable producer of this variety. Nose of lemon, lime, ripe melon and white fresh florals. On the palate, fresh, clean, round and brilliant. Beautiful acidity, lemon, lime, melon, stone fruits, pear, fruit blossoms and citrus peel. Another photo of their amazing view and owner Jo Mills with my wife. Jo is such a great host with amazing passion and energy for making great wine. — 7 years ago
This was power and richness beyond belief and comprehension. Still a baby at 21 years old! It kept improving in the glass throughout the long night. A WOTN in the making but maybe not tonight. Almost demi-sec, gateway to Reciotto roots, thick-a-brick with concentrated plum raisin flavors but fresh acidity and imminence to amaze and keep you coming back for another taste (especially with some late night cheeses!). — 7 years ago

Good wine. Almost a 9 — 7 years ago
I still love this Pinot but the 2011 was amazing I drank at least a case. It does not have the same feel seems more heavy with darker fruit notes. — 7 years ago
Fruity and smooth. Nice for a dinner wine — 8 years ago
Very good rose. Not too sweet — 9 years ago
Great with spicy pizza. — 10 years ago
This is a very drinkable wine. Well – balanced. One can drink it by itself or with food. — 10 years ago
Shows Sta. Rita Hills roots. Etherial and floral in the nose, very elegant. White pepper, dill. Stems included!!! Decent complexity. Palate is not so impressive, one dimensional right now.. Very mild acidity- rather fruity then mineral. Overall, elegant CA Pinot. Pricy. Need to visit the tasting room in Lompoc. — 6 years ago
My favourite cuvée from Egly - 100% Pinot Noir. No Pinot Meunière Delectable. Only 30 cms of Top soil and the roots go straight into the chalk. One could smell the chalky minerality. Average age of the vines is 40 years - with the oldest planted in Ambonnay in 1946 with base Wine coming from the 2009 and 2010 vintages. Great power Flavour and Intensity. — 6 years ago
Toasty, green apple nose, nice chard — 7 years ago
I really like this one. Very different- crisp and sweet without actual sweetness. Very cool. — 8 years ago
Slightly sour, wonderful flavour. Light to medium bodied. Would be good with strong cheeses. — 8 years ago
This is the Malbec I imagine our grandfather's drinking. Starting with a dark berry and progressing to a peppery, leathery finish. Deep Roots Malbec would be a great dinner wine, especially with a custom cut steak dinner. — 9 years ago
With initial aromas of dark cherry, eucalyptus / menthol, and dried rose, there was a slight animal tone as well. With air the primal tone subdued, giving way to all of the aforementioned, in a more focused tension, along with a strong savory component. Concentrated! — 9 years ago
Really reminds me of burgundy. Neutral oak. Has a bit of that burgundy gym sock action going on. Lots of pretty, wild dandelion flowers. Great acid. — 10 years ago
