It’s not overly sweet. Perfect balance of sweet with hint of fruity tang. Would surly buy again! #its5oclocksomewhere — 8 years ago
Toasty, green apple nose, nice chard — 8 years ago
The Osteiner grape is a German grape variety created from crossing of Riesling and Silvaner. Despite its German roots, Rippon is perhaps the most notable producer of this variety. Nose of lemon, lime, ripe melon and white fresh florals. On the palate, fresh, clean, round and brilliant. Beautiful acidity, lemon, lime, melon, stone fruits, pear, fruit blossoms and citrus peel. Another photo of their amazing view and owner Jo Mills with my wife. Jo is such a great host with amazing passion and energy for making great wine. — 9 years ago
This was power and richness beyond belief and comprehension. Still a baby at 21 years old! It kept improving in the glass throughout the long night. A WOTN in the making but maybe not tonight. Almost demi-sec, gateway to Reciotto roots, thick-a-brick with concentrated plum raisin flavors but fresh acidity and imminence to amaze and keep you coming back for another taste (especially with some late night cheeses!). — 9 years ago
Fruity and smooth. Nice for a dinner wine — 10 years ago

I really like this one. Very different- crisp and sweet without actual sweetness. Very cool. — 9 years ago
A lighter nose with a palate of cranberry, strawberry and a light zesting of orange. A darker, deeper rosé with a long fruity finish. — 9 years ago
This is the Malbec I imagine our grandfather's drinking. Starting with a dark berry and progressing to a peppery, leathery finish. Deep Roots Malbec would be a great dinner wine, especially with a custom cut steak dinner. — 10 years ago
Very dry, mild tannins, hints of caramel/umami in the body, crisp finish. No coarseness — 11 years ago
This is a very drinkable wine. Well – balanced. One can drink it by itself or with food. — 12 years ago
Starting to show it's stuff, but still needs a lot more time to truly show it's roots. — 13 years ago
@Chris MacLean you would like this wine. Like a Greek version of barbera good acidity and well structured — 7 years ago

I still love this Pinot but the 2011 was amazing I drank at least a case. It does not have the same feel seems more heavy with darker fruit notes. — 9 years ago
Winemaker Joseph J. Wagner is a 4th generation winemaker from a family with farming and winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby (darkest Pinot almost looks like a Cab) with aromas of ripe berries and spice notes. The palate shows rich black fruits, blackberries, plums and black cherries, vanilla spice, cedar and cacao. Rich soft tannins, firm acidity on lingering finish ending with mineral tones. Nice! — 9 years ago
Not too heavy, well balanced with a consistent finish. Solid north coast can — 10 years ago
With initial aromas of dark cherry, eucalyptus / menthol, and dried rose, there was a slight animal tone as well. With air the primal tone subdued, giving way to all of the aforementioned, in a more focused tension, along with a strong savory component. Concentrated! — 11 years ago
Great with spicy pizza. — 11 years ago
Really reminds me of burgundy. Neutral oak. Has a bit of that burgundy gym sock action going on. Lots of pretty, wild dandelion flowers. Great acid. — 11 years ago
