06' Barnard Magrez Cabernet. 83% CB 12% CF 5%PV. WOW... A rare bottle indeed. This was sourced from the famous Vineyard Thorevilos (Abreu). Aaron Pott was its winemaker in 2006.
A 2 hour + on the decanting. All the elegant black fruit you can imagine in this glass. A 30+ finish. It's certainly in the discussion of one of the finest 2006's I've had out of Napa. Drinking well now & has another 20+ great years in it.
Barnard Magrez is now sourcing there fruit from Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyards. If you didn't get enough Realm Dr. Crane 12/13's. Hell… just want to add another great wine! This certainly could be a viable option(wish list). Benoit Touquette is "NOW" the winemaker😉👍!!
I'm not saying the 12 & 13's are another Realm Dr. Crane. They're the same winemaker & sourcing🤔. Just a thought... — 9 years ago
2010 Dylan's Ghost Stag's Leap Vineyard "Beast Blend" by Aaron Pott. Intense black fruits, cocoa and spice with good underlying terroir notes from the franc. Cozy wine for a cool night with steak and chocolate. Signed and gifted by owner Joe Carr. Thanks Joe! — 10 years ago
Big, powerful Cabernet. Youthful and delicious. — 11 years ago
Very tasty 07 Spring Mountain Cabernet. Aaron Potts own label, you may also know some of his other consulting projects like Quintessa, Blackbird, Bello. This is dense and concentrated, loaded with dark fruits, spices, coffee and chocolate. Rich and Voluptuous all the way through. — 11 years ago
This is made by Peter Story but will be Aaron Pott in the future — 12 years ago

Now it's my turn to try this bad boy from Perliss. It was indeed an experience getting through the tough wax seal, but after a couple of YouTube videos and a few attempts I got the damned thing open! Seriously there needs to be a better way. Use the pull-tab a la Makers Mark. Anyway on to the wine, which is indeed really good! 100% Cabernet, the 2012 is made by Aaron Pott and I've become a huge fan of his wines. This one's from Calistoga and is brimming with dark fruit as well as chocolate and some toffee flavors. Totally drinkable now. Cheers! — 8 years ago
Brilliant value bottle from Aaron Pott. Buy multiple, drink often. Quite the enjoyable Rhone blend. — 10 years ago

Another Hattori Hanzo. Yippee — 11 years ago
Wine maker Aaron Pott. Pomerol style blend of merlot, cab franc, and cab sauv. Soft and approachable but with interesting complexity and decent tannic structure from the cabs — 12 years ago
Our best seller. At $22 for an Aaron Pott cabernet, it's not surprising. Never heard of Resolute? That's because it's the very first year for this ambitious project - high quality Cabs from the outskirts of Napa/Sonoma made by Aaron Pott at an extremely affordable price point. One of the most difficult feats for any wine lover is to find a good $20-ish daily drinker, and this wine is surely one of the best in the country — 8 years ago
Im no Rose aficionado, but this is very good, perfect for spring & summer or vacation, time to pull some other cheap whites out of the suit case and add a couple of these.
Made by Aaron Pott
