How could I drink this and not post it? I wanted to be a hater, but was happy to have a very good wine change my tune. The Rhone and Burgundy meet in this low alcohol, spicy, expensive oak kissed, dark fruited bottle. Nice with chicken and with a real future ahead of it. 1982 Conterno Monfortino Barolo. Third red at post-museum lunch at Il P alongside the '82 Barbaresco and Barolo. This one was the hands down favorite of the three. Sweet, raisiny, beautiful dusty red color. — 9 years ago
