2014 vintage enjoyed in 2017. Bought this on recommendation in Portofino. Still a little young but very well balanced and as mentioned previously not too acidic. Well done. Good value. — 8 years ago
When in Portofino - drink like a worldly Italian!! This wine was a surprise find on my way to buy an ornellaia or chiappini - my two favorite Bolgheri wines with muscle AND finesse in the glass. This wine is from a cooler region in Italy however the Cabernet and Merlot could not have been shown better. There is pepper on the palette but otherwise the perfect balance and structure of these Bordeaux varietals. There is leather on the front end, and the acidity and lower alcohol made this wine a great addition to our meal. A guaranteed winner of any blind tasting!! — 8 years ago

Fittingly bracing minerality in vigorous play with aromas and flavors of Mediterranean scrub, pinewoods and meadow grasses. A bubbly beauty. — 11 years ago
In a field of gorgeous Italian whites, this was a star. Lime zest, sea spray, white peach, yellow plum, apricot, honeysuckle, rosemary, sweet basil, on a medium plus body with medium plus acid and a long satisfying, lip-smacking finish — 7 years ago
Cool blend that we found in a wine shop in Portofino, Italy — 8 years ago
In portofino. Beautiful white blend that perfectly complemented a perfect seafood dinner. Dry, complex enough but still easy drinking. A winner — 8 years ago

Thoroughly enjoyed the Ciliegiolo varietal in Rapallo, Italy. Cherry is in the name, and most certainly on the palate. — 8 years ago

Delightful throwback to days in Portofino, this hard-to-find vermentino sings with sea spray, grapefruit, lemon peel, chamomile, nectarine, white peach, and tingly acid - mineral streak that accentuates both seafood and citrus fruit salads. Another superb expression from Liguria — 7 years ago
