My 2nd favorite 20 yr behind Grahams. Ramos Pinto is good as well, but seems to have to bottle to bottle variability issues…. Taylor is a great standby at a good price. — 4 years ago
2005 vintage: on the palette, blackberry and grape jam with subtle notes of Marcona almonds. On the nose, the same notes but with some toffee. — 5 years ago
Quite lovely on our first night in Portugal for the wife’s birthday! Scored 2 points higher due to the sleeping gentleman in the picture :) #firstfamilyvacation — 7 years ago
Very good price-quality comparison. Deep color, rich ripe aromas of black berries, cherries, nuts, marmalade, licorice. Good acidity and tannins, which are silky and chewy. Longish aftertaste with dried berries — 7 years ago
Some Brett, cinnamon but mixed with a beautiful rustic berry sensation. CO2 dissipates but third time this is delicious so I'm all in 🙏 — 7 years ago
17.5. 1985. I expected more. But it's classic. And good balance. — 9 years ago

A 750ML bottle of Ruby Port for $28?!? This is my new favorite “best buy” Port and I will continue drinking it! Sooo tasty — 7 years ago
The 2000 Quinta do Noval Porto Colheita Tawny is superb, showing warm and welcoming notes of caramel, dried fruit, honey, sultana along with a pinch of toast. The mind immediately jumps to pairings like stilton, Roquefort, or dried fruit, though, surprisingly the staff at Noval recommend trying it with fresh carrot, unpeeled. I love the this Port's vibrancy and balance, the palate bright, like a newly minted penny, its brimming over with walnut shells, figs, golden raisins, and spice cake. Just lovely. 20.5% ABV | Sample — 9 years ago
Still young, I'll keep my other '85 Taylor's cellared for at least 5 more years... — 9 years ago

Thick and dusty and dark cherry sweetness — 5 years ago
Toffee and maple aromas stand out in this Colheita. Flavours of biscuit and toasted pecan emerge thereafter. The finish is vaguely like vanilla. — 6 years ago
Had a bit more bite to it than the standard Ruby or Tawny versions. Also had some subtle notes of dark chocolate. — 7 years ago
Great taste, full flavor — 7 years ago
Brought by Howard Liberman. Delicious — 9 years ago
Very nice sweet port. — 9 years ago
Herbal like nose at beginning, spicy nose, very peppery character, at first taste it has like a metallic note but that fades away with time, round but heavy style pulls some berries and light cherry notes - an ok aged vintage port #portwineday #winelover — 10 years ago

Medium tawny in color; golden raisins, toasted caramel; and honeycomb on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like chocolate, and dried cherries with a long finish. — 8 months ago
