Awesome one from DNWC! — 8 years ago
(My portfolio) Yes oh yes! This has aged SO well! Nicaraguan tobacco, mocha and black earth. The nose is a bit muted at the moment but it hardly matters when this hits the palate. The tannins are amazingly well integrated and the finish is more than 2 minutes in length.... — 8 years ago

Sweet red fruits, five spice and notes of vanilla from the oak. A firm acid backbone drives the wine to a long finish. Beautifully balanced Yarra Pinot and cracking value for money. A solid performer in the outer ministry, pushing for a cabinet portfolio in the next reshuffle. 91 pts. — 10 years ago
Blackberry, hint of cayenne, cocoa & cedar. One of my favorites in Long Shadows portfolio. — 10 years ago

Harder than other wines in the line up. Enormous structure and hard youth, roasting pig and bacon, hot chili pepper, some humming acid and quite assertive tannin. Although 20 plus years old, some of the youngest vines in Ridge’s portfolio and showing their ruggedness. Great, rustic, ballsy. — 7 years ago
Tried it at a portfolio tasting and the wine was phenomenal. A blend of 30% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 40% Pinot Meunier. Delicious red fruit but not too sweet. — 8 years ago
Dense, luscious, and suddenly gone. Great expression of the varietal, and a relative value for the portfolio. — 8 years ago
The Wine Club tasting flight is a must to enjoy the spoils of Bluxome's portfolio. — 8 years ago
Delightful nonvintage from Pierre. His growing practices continue to produce incredible wines and this, though on the low end of his portfolio is very enjoyable — 9 years ago
2012 vintage. Exactly what you want from Toro at this price. Perfectly drinkable by itself and even better with a steak or pizza. Pretty versatile wine. Happy to have it in the portfolio for sure! — 10 years ago
New addition to our portfolio. Just perfect! Glass is full and bottle is empty #champagne #deutz — 11 years ago
Day 2 of Terry Theise portfolio. Have by now died and gone to heaven. — 11 years ago
One of the earliest viticultural inhabitants of Marlborough, the Giesen Brothers offer a fantastic portfolio - including a Pinot Noir from the pedigreed Clayvin Vineyard. When it comes to value in New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, however, it's hard to beat Giesen's entry-level. Tart, clean, and mineral - it tastes of sea water-splashed bell peppers, mixed with cold grapefruit slices and cilantro. — 7 years ago
That went fast, too fast. Probably would’ve enjoyed it more of it was decanted.

Another bottle from the world famous J.Gourley Wine Cellar Selections portfolio....a light, delicious Sauv Blanc with bright and refreshingly tart lemon and peach flavors...a zesty kick of spice and acidity on the backend gives it a great finish...a perfect hot weather white... — 8 years ago

I’ve come to really enjoy the entire portfolio of wines from Long Shadows, and while the reds are a bit more up my alley, this is really difficult to beat for the price. I think I enjoyed the 2016 a bit more, but I think this will hold longer.
Made in an off-dry style, there is a tinge of sweetness that reminds me more of German Riesling than Alsatian Riesling. At pop, there was a slight note of petrol on the nose but it dissipated by day two. Honeyed stone fruits, apricot and crushed limestone also show up aromatically. On the palate, it’s mineral/slate driven with some lemon-lime, lychee and zippy acidity. Touch of sweetness doesn’t arrive until the very back end of the palate. Best enjoyed around cellar temp, in my experience. — 5 years ago
