Thick, dark yet super easy to drink. Reminds me of Dixie Brewing's Blackened Voodoo. $4 / 89pts — 12 years ago
The third PCV wine opened the night of my birthday. This Zin is dense rich and sweet fruit with a bit of soft tannin. One of my favorite PCV zins. But getting old. — 12 years ago

Third time drinking this vintage. It's ready now. Dope wine. — 8 years ago
Deep Ruby. Both stalky, sappy and with full berry fruits. A full bodied Pinot from the very close planted Issan Vineyard ( in excess of 9,000 vines per Hectare). A different flavour profile to the equally full bodied Otago Pinots. Phillip Jones calls it a freak wine. We probably drunk it a little too soon as its best years are in front of it- yet delicious now. 15.2% Alc but not noticeable. — 8 years ago
Deep ruby in color. Alcohol on the nose with a little bit of berry bush. Medium heavy body. Cherry, raspberry, and lime with a floral and dark chocolate finish. Fresh acidity up front and bone dry on the end. — 9 years ago
Sick Syrah. Smoke, black pepper, bacon fat, lovely dark fruit. Perfect medium minus body, only 13.6abv. Would have mistaken it for a St Joseph or Cornas. Beautiful. Well done Porter Creek, well done. @Drew DiMatteo are you familiar with these guys? They're in your future neighborhood! — 10 years ago

Rarely do I enjoy Russian River Chardonnay like this. Not obtrusive oak use, delicate, nuanced, and fresh. — 10 years ago
2008 vintage. Just beautiful. Showing an intensity of fruit still. Should age gracefully. — 10 years ago

More impressive than the last tasting in August this year. Raspberry, strawberry and other red fruits and a hint of clove. A lovely fresh spicy nose. A light weight plus palate showing sour cherry, muted acid finishing with very fine tannins. Phillip Jones showing his skill with a grape other than Pinot Noir or Chardonnay. Good to drink now or in the next 12 months. — 4 years ago
