Definitely a Peppery Bold beauty in a bottle. Great with some stew over polenta! — 10 years ago
Balanced and more full bodied than other Chianti Classico wines I've had. Vintage is ready to drink. Started out of the bottle great and improved even more with time in the glass. — 10 years ago
Goes great with getting lit in the Mediterranean — 10 years ago
2009: Dark cherry nose, lively acidity, forest fruits, med tannins, shall drink more of it! — 10 years ago
Jan 3, 2017. On special at Total Wine. Love the Leone d'Oro Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, tried this Rossi di Toscana. This is very nice. Great balance, deep color, full bodied. — 8 years ago

Very nice for the pool. — 10 years ago
Drinking lovely! This producer holds back their wines until they feel ready to release, this 1980 is a current release! Still showing fruit, leather and "crispness" as the Portuguese would say. — 10 years ago
Light and smooth. Very nice. — 12 years ago

2014v. Medium ruby color. Light aroma of red cherries. On the palette, there's plum and red cherry, a little ginger spice, and a light oak finish. Tannins fill the checks and front of the mouth, and are chewy not grippy. Good acidity. A well balanced primitivo whose fruit flavors are not overripe. I could imagine this wine would be an excellent pair with tomato sauce pastas, pork, lighter grilled meats, or a meat and cheese platter. Give it at least 30-45min to breathe. 14.5% ABV. — 8 years ago
